I have long thought that given my average (hcp 38), take a particular golf ball did not matter. In general, I favored the balls most economic - Decathlon, or Maxfly Optimizer, which cost between 50 cents and 1 euro coin. Recently I read a comparison test on golf balls in Driver Magazine that made me changed my mind. This test showed us the different performances (spin, distance, etc.) of the batted ball with the same driver with a special machine. Well I was amazed reading the results. So I decided to go invest in some bales of brands rated by the magazine, and actually, I found the best moves goods. I am now loyal to Callaway balls, Big Bertha Red, certainly a bit more expensive (about 2 € each). But I always keep a few balls for the most basic strokes at risk (near the rough parts and water :-)) Also note that the new balls from Wilson DX2 Soft are also very good. In my case, it is mostly putting the balls make a difference and it is also in the head. It happened to root paths with an old worn-out ball and miss a whole new Callaway. The problem of bullets is not a problem for players at the beginning. When we started playing all his bullets "bonnnes" .. to throw in any direction! After some years of practice sistématique, say five years, there are clearly differences in the game, the game is long or short in the game, and it is mostly around the greens (at least 100m for pitching or chipping) the best balls make the difference when you want to place the ball where you want. As for the "longest shots" you need a ball that we know well his performance (distance and spin) or you may find it too short or lose it off the fairway. In putting the problem of bullets is another: he must know what their meridian balance which can be determined and marked with machine very simple and cheap that there has to specialist shops. And even the best and most expensive balls I found that they have small defects mass balance in his inner need to know by their test and post mark the "best area" to adjust the direction of putting . I just discovered the site www.ballesdegolf.fr - the used golf balls is less than half price! It's great - now we can test the high-end balls (Pro V, Hx Tour, TaylorMade, etc.) without breaking the bank!. The Golf Blog is a blog created by amateurs to discover the world of golf (the sport, the various courses and golf club, golf equipment and novelties, travel and golf trips) and exchange with Other fans of the small ball.Often, they are considered irrational superstitions and insignificant. However, a study by researchers at the University of Cologne in Germany, has shown that really work: they make people do better in their tasks, and deal more courageous and persistent. This is the first time establishing that superstitious beliefs have a real effect, that would originate in the promotion of self-confidence. Often, they are considered irrational superstitions and insignificant. However, a recent study by researchers at the University of Cologne in Germany showed that truly influence the effectiveness of certain actions. Lyssan Damish, a social psychologist at the University and an author of the research, along with collaborators Barbara and Thomas Stoberock Mussweiler, was interested in the superstitious attitude of athletes in games and sporting events. Damish Lyssan explains, was quoted in a statement of the journal Psychological Science, in many sports shows how often the athletes, even the most famous, maintain their own superstitions and lucky charms. For example, the basketball player in the NBA, Michael Jordan always wore shorts under her university team the Chicago Bulls uniform every time you play a game with this team. FIFA has dedicated some of his reports to the superstitions of the players and coaches. Damish thought superstitious beliefs could actually influence the success of the game for athletes by increasing their confidence. To verify this empirically, the researcher and his colleagues designed a set of experiments in which activated the superstitious beliefs of the participants, to observe how they worked. The researchers devised four experiments in which the superstition of the volunteers was increased by a sentence, an action (like crossing your fingers) or a talisman of good luck. According to Physorg publishes the effects of superstitious beliefs were measured in the participants' performance in activities of motor agility, memory, solving anagrams and playing golf. In the first experiment, volunteers were given either a "golf ball of luck" or an ordinary golf ball and asked to play golf with them. In the second experiment, participants had to perform a task that consisted of motor agility tipping a bucket with a network of 36 holes until they get introduced into 36 balls. In this case, half the volunteers were instructed simply to be starting the game, while the other half were told a statement like "fingers crossed for you." In the third and fourth experiment, participants carried good luck charms themselves, which the researchers took away saying they were going to shoot. Only half of the volunteers were returned their charms, while the rest were told that there had been problems with the camera, and talismans were to remain in another room. Before performing the task of the third experiment, participants underwent a questionnaire to assess their degree of confidence and optimism about it.This task was a memory exercise in which the volunteers had to match cards placed face down. In the fourth experiment, again one half of the participants could have their charms, while the other half did not. They also completed a questionnaire before an anagram that was to form all the words they could from a group of eight letters. The results of these four experiments showed that superstitions actually serve to increase individual performance. Thus, in the game of golf participants who had the "ball of luck" made their task significantly better than the others. In the second experiment, those individuals who were told a phrase associated with good luck agility performed motor task faster and better than others. In the third and fourth experiments found that improved performance in terms of changes in individual perceptions of self-efficacy, related to having or not the respective talismans of luck. These talismans made participants feel more confident and capable of solving their tasks. Also, the results obtained in the fourth experiment showed that the performance of volunteers increased because their superstitious beliefs drove them to be more persistent in their work, and to try harder. This research would be the first positive superstitions notes that beneficially affect the future performance and is also the first to demonstrate that superstition works even when activated by other people. The study also provides an explanation on the operation of superstitions. In each case, they worked giving participants greater confidence in their own abilities, which in turn increased the performance of these, and their courage and persistence to get the desired success. In a future study, Damisch and his colleagues analyzed the effects of negative superstitions, to see how these affect the commitment and performance in certain tasks. The researchers have detailed the results of this research in an article in the journal Psychological Science, published by the Association for Psychological Science in the United States. ..
